Current Covid-19 Policies

AFM Policies and Practices responding to COVID-19 concerns (updated 5/24/2023):

Atlanta Friends Meeting is continuing in-person events and activities at the Meeting House. In-person Meetings for Worship will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Sundays, and we are also continuing to support virtual attendance and participation via Zoom with audio and video connections in the Worship space. Some of our smaller worship opportunities and meeting groups also offer a Zoom option. Meeting schedules and activity opportunities are found in the Weekly Announcement Sheet, with more published in our current Newsletter issue (also linked on Events page). Related notifications, updates and virtual meeting details are also mirrored and circulated via the AFM email list and on the AFM FaceBook Group. Following CDC recommendations on masking, masks are optional at the meeting house, though some groups using the meetinghouse may have stricter policies. If you test positive for COVID, please join us via Zoom and do not come to the meetinghouse. We continue to encourage vaccination and boosters for all those who can. Please continue to hold in the Light all those affected by this outbreak. If you have a need for community assistance or would like to offer help, please see the Care and Counsel Support section of our Members & Attenders page. If you have questions, concerns or suggestions, please contact Jennifer Dickie, Clerk of Meeting, at
