Welcome, newcomers! We invite you to attend our weekly meeting for worship on Sundays at 10am. Please see here for directions to our meetinghouse or here for instructions for joining on Zoom.

Next Steps

For those who want to get better acquainted with us:

  1. Visit the welcome table for information after meeting for worship.
  2. Talk with a member of Care & Counsel or Ministry & Worship after worship
  3. Visit atlantaquakers.org to explore our website.
  4. Contact Nina in the office with questions about this Meeting or Quakers in general. Office hours are Monday thru Thursday, 10 to 1 and Friday, by appointment.
  5. Read the weekly announcement sheet or sign up to receive it via email at atlantaquakers@gmail.com.
  6. Take a copy of the monthly newsletter and sign up to receive it via email at atlantaquakers@gmail.com.
  7. Attend a midweek worship service (Wednesdays from 9:00–9:30am on Zoom or 7:00–8:00pm in the library. Check the announcement sheet for details.)
  8. Volunteer on a Sunday morning to be a Greeter, help in the Nursery, be a presence in a First Day School class, or help set up or clean up after coffee hour. Sign up on the clipboard by the front door or as it is passed around after meeting. Sign up online: http://tinyurl.com/afmvolunteers.
  9. Join the Atlanta Friends Meeting Discussion Email List. Send email to atlantaquakers@gmail.com.
  10. Attend a Sunday activity before or after worship:
    • Adult Religious Education Class – Every Sunday from 9:00–9:45am in the Library.
    • Committee meetings – most on 2nd Sundays after worship in person or Zoom.
    • Forums on various topics – Various Sundays after worship-see announcement sheet.
    • Meeting for Business – 3rd Sunday of each month, after meeting for worship
    • Potluck lunch – Every 1st Sunday after meeting for worship
  11. Attend a newcomers dinner, usually offered on the 18th of the month. See the weekly announcement sheet for details.
